Only got about four exits away before I realized I had left my purse at the McDonald's I had met Mom at. Retrieved my purse and Mom and I continued on to Ohio.
Stopped in Middletown, Ohio for White Castle and Big Lots adventures. Who knew toilet bowl brushes could be so versatile.
Next stop was Dry Ridge, Kentucky. Stole WiFi from a random hotel so Mom could use Priceline.com to book our hotel room in Lexington, Kentucky. Stopped to get gas; there was a vehicle carrying two small children and a woman taking swigs of vodka and smoking hard in the passenger seat.
Stopped at the liquor store before arriving at the hotel. Mother picked out some delicious champagne-like wine.
Headed to the hotel bar to grab dinner. An older gentleman made a pass at Mother on the way in. He later asked me to dance after Mom and I ordered Southern Fried Chicken (aka delicious).
Mom and I had our first legal drink together and post dinner ordered a round of shots. Eventually, came back to the hotel room after some minor hotel-exploring.
Currently: sipping 'champagne' and watching free hotel movies
